16/06/2022Tom OrdDuring the branch meeting on 7 June we voted on our Pub of the Season for Summer 2022 and Tennent's in Hillhead emerged the winner. A presentation to the pub will be arranged shortly; the time and date will be decided sometime after the Glasgow Real Ale Festival is over. In the meantime, congratulations to Tennent's.

17/04/2022Tom OrdThis Easter the Isle of Bute has two new (well, re-opened) real ale pubs. The Anchor Tavern in Port Bannatyne is a community owned and run pub & hub and the Kingarth Hotel in the south of the island has opened again after closing in September 2020.
