Welcome to the Website of Glasgow CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale in Glasgow and most of the West of Scotland! CAMRA is the pub-goers’ champion, we promote fine beers in great pubs and defend the rights of the drinker.
Presently, the whole of Scotland is under certain Covid restrictions. For pubs, normal licensing restrictions apply to opening hours but one-metre social distancing applies between groups of customers which should, ideally, be from no more than three households.
Customers must be seated at tables and ordering drinks at the table is the preferred method. If this is not practical then physical distancing must be in place at bar queues and customers must take their drinks straight to the table.
Pubs must continute to collect contact details from customers and face coverings are required when not eating or drinking (e.g. on arrival and departure and going to and from the toilets). If in doubt, use WhatPub for the latest details or to contact the pub before you visit.
If you're not ready to return to pubs the local breweries listed at the bottom of this page that are marked with an asterisk are delivering orders to your door. You can also find a wider range of breweries on CAMRA's Brew2You feature.
